About this scent. Vanilla by Emmanuelle Jane is a Citrus Gourmand fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Why an attar. An attar is a perfume oil with no alcohol in it. Nothing lifts it off the skin, so it does not throw as far as a spray — it sits close and releases slowly, which is why one application stays with you so much longer. The oil also warms with your body, so the deeper base notes come forward more than they would in a spray.
How to wear it. Dab a little on the pulse points — wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat. Do not rub your wrists together; it crushes the opening notes.
