About this scent. Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. This is a new fragrance. Armani Code Parfum was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Antoine Maisondieu. Top notes are Bergamot and Bergamot Leaf;; middle notes are Iris, Aldehydes, Clary Sage and Orris;; base notes are Tonka Bean and Cedar. Inspired by popular fragrances. Why an attar. An attar is a perfume oil with no alcohol in it. Nothing lifts it off the skin, so it does not throw as far as a spray — it sits close and releases slowly, which is why one application stays with you so much longer. The oil also warms with your body, so the deeper base notes come forward more than they would in a spray.
How to wear it. Dab a little on the pulse points — wrists, behind the ears, the base of the throat. Do not rub your wrists together; it crushes the opening notes.
